Suspended Silver is a series of photographs made from silver particles extracted from film debris found in the dust. By printing each silver particle—the material equivalent, one might say, of a pixel—the physical components that produced the original photographs found in the Barakat Building are reshaped into images or opaque artifacts that carry the physical traces and composition of information of the initial objects just as it renders them remote and cryptic.
